I am a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Structural Geology and Earth Resources group at Harvard University.  I am currently studying the structure of the Longmen Shan mountain range and the western Sichuan Basin, China, using industry seismic reflection data. My work applies to both understanding the rheology and deformation of the Tibetan plateau (lower crustal flow vs. crustal shortening) and to understanding the seismic hazards of the mountain range, as exhibited by the May 12th 2008 M7.9 Wenchuan earthquake.

Before coming to Harvard, I received my B.S. from Caltech in 2005.
